Echoes of Our Roots Amra88
“Amra88” – this identity is not merely confined to a number; rather, it is a living reflection of a golden chapter etched in the hearts of the 1988 SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent examinees. Though time, like a flowing river, has scattered us to various corners of life, those untarnished memories of adolescence and youth, that selfless friendship, still remain unfaded deep within our existence. This platform is an earnest endeavor to return to those roots, to reconnect lost melodies.
The Strength of Bonds and Our Vow of Service
Our primary goal is to reunite friends scattered over many years and to further strengthen our heartfelt bond. Alongside reminiscing about the innocent chats, laughter, tears, and playful banter of our school and college days, we are committed to maintaining mutual respect, love, and a harmonious relationship. However, this bond is not confined merely amongst ourselves; it extends to the service of humanity.
Unwavering Faith and a Call to the Future
We deeply believe that true friendship endures, transcending all barriers of time. “WeAre88” is a tangible symbol of that unwavering faith, which transports us back to those dreamlike days when our hearts were as free as birds and our aspirations as vast as the sky. We firmly hold that this collective strength of friendship is not limited to personal joy or reminiscence; rather, by channeling this power for the welfare of our country and people, and in service to humanity, it is possible to bring about positive change.

I am particularly happy to see such an organization of alumni. I recently came to know about ‘Amra88’. It can be understood from reading their ‘About Us’ profile that this gathering place of 1988 SSC batch students is not only for reminiscing but also has a far-reaching humanitarian appeal. The effort they have taken to find friends after a long time, keep in touch with them, and above all, do something collectively for society is a wonderful example for the current generation. In particular, their mutual cooperation and humanitarian initiative is very noble. Such organizations help in increasing social harmony and have a positive impact on the youth. I congratulate all the members of ‘Amra88’ for their beautiful initiative

I am always keen to highlight various positive aspects of society. Recently, an alumni organization named ‘Amar88’ came to my attention. The collective efforts of these friends of the 1988 SSC batch are not limited to just communicating or reminiscing among themselves, but they also feel a sense of responsibility towards the society, which is truly commendable. From their ‘About Us’ profile and talking to some of the members, I came to know that they not only find joy in reunions, but also actively participate in humanitarian work.

Recently, I came to know about some of the humanitarian work of this alumni organization called ‘Amra88’. At first, I thought it might be just a get-together group of old friends. But when I heard that they are also supporting their members and standing by some helpless people in the society, I felt really good. They sometimes take initiatives like health camps or distributing educational materials. Even after all these years, such a strong bond of friendship and the effort to use that bond for the welfare of people is truly commendable. ‘Amra88’ has proven that alumni can also play an important role in society if they have the will. I wish them to continue on this beautiful path.”
